Returns

Every Silvestre piece is handcrafted in our Mexico City studio using precious metals and carefully selected natural stones. Many of our jewels are one of a kind or produced in very small editions, making each piece unique.

For this reason, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Caring for Your Jewelry

We believe jewelry is meant to be lived with.

Every Silvestre piece carries the character of the materials from which it was made. Like stone shaped by wind or silver aged by time, your jewelry will evolve with wear, becoming uniquely yours.

A little care will allow it to accompany you for many years.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is a living metal. Over time it naturally develops a soft patina as it reacts to air, humidity, perfumes, lotions, and the oils of the skin. These subtle changes are not imperfections, but part of the material's beauty.

To preserve its finish:

• Polish occasionally using a soft silver polishing cloth or a cleaning solution made specifically for sterling silver.
• Store your jewelry in its original Silvestre box, designed to protect it from unnecessary exposure to air and humidity.
• Avoid prolonged contact with water, swimming pools, hot springs, seawater, or excessive perspiration.
• Allow perfumes, creams, and cosmetics to dry before wearing your jewelry.

Natural Stones

Every gemstone we use was formed by nature over thousands—even millions—of years. Variations in color, texture, and inclusions are part of their natural identity and make every piece unique.

Although carefully selected for jewelry, natural stones vary in hardness and should be treated with care.

We recommend:

• Avoiding impacts, falls, or excessive pressure that may chip or fracture the stone.
• Keeping stones away from perfumes, cosmetics, and prolonged moisture, as some minerals are naturally porous and sensitive.
• Cleaning only with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners and do not soak stones in water.

Repairs

We create jewelry to become part of your story.

If, over time, your piece requires repair, please contact us at mexicosilvestre@gmail.com. Whenever possible, we are happy to restore jewelry crafted in our studio.

Each repair is assessed individually according to the condition of the piece and the availability of original materials. Repair and shipping fees may apply.

Storage

Each Silvestre jewel arrives in its own signature box, created not only for presentation but for safekeeping.

When not being worn, we recommend storing your jewelry in its original box or another soft individual case. Keeping pieces separate helps prevent scratches, protects delicate stones, and minimizes exposure to air and humidity.

Thoughtfully cared for, your jewelry will continue to acquire the quiet beauty that only time can give.
